About the association
The Waterloo Acres Community Association was established in the 1970’s to provide water service to the Waterloo Acres subdivisions located in South Oak Harbor, WA. The water system is designated as a ‘Group-A Community’ type system based on Washington State law. The water system serves 48 lots. The Association is governed by a Board of Directors who are elected from and by the Association members. The Association is governed by by-laws which are recorded with Island County. Joining the community
If you recently purchased a home or land within our service area, welcome to the Association! Please reach out to us so we can update our contact information. If you are a tenant renting a home from an Association member, please let us know as well so we can get you connected with email alerts and other communications.
The Association holds one annual meeting every June. It is open to all Association members. Notices of the meeting place and time will be communicated through mail, facebook, and this website.
Water dues
Currently, the water dues are billed every six months at the start and middle of the year. The water dues are $500.00 annually. The Board is planning to move to metered billing, and we are forming a steering committee of Board and Association members to build that rate structure. If you are an Association member interested in helping with that work, please contact us.
